I really liked your previous caption "Beached". With that in mind, I would like to request the following please:
James had the ability to swap physical or mental traits with anyone. However, because of the bias toward "trait vampires", as his kind were called, he didn't like using his powers. One day he saw a woman crying. He asked what was wrong. The woman (Sam), explained that she always wanted to be male but was afraid what her family would think. James then asked if she really wanted to be male, and after she said yes, he used his powers to swap their genders. Sam was shocked but after James explained everything, Sam thank him and went to start her (or his) new life. James also was interested to see what life would be like as a woman. I thought of it as a kind of dissociation. You don't want to accept that your body is this thing that is supposed to be so intimately yours, so instead you treat it like something that can be effed with. As someone who very often feels that dissociation, even though I'm healthy and have a fair amount of other physical benefits, I still really suffer from this dissociated feeling.

I suppose that's one way to deal with a new body . . . Maybe he should be happy he's young, healthy, and beautiful?
