I had fun with it for sure. I saw the first picture and thought of the movie Midsommar, which freaked me out. Wanted to write a short little story that kind of pulled out some of the similarly creepy themes about preservation of bodies and cycling out when your body becomes "too old".
Isn't it!? I kind of came up with it as I was writing. Initially I was just going to make it an F2F, but I decided it'd be cooler to add a bit more freakiness to the idea that the older men in a society would ALSO take the bodies of the younger women. then my mind just went crazy with all the ideas that could come with that (which is usually a good sign, I think).
Lol - it really doesn't go anywhere close to anything we all get interested in -- I don't want you expecting any of that. (Though probably still worth checking out!)
