I like how Melissa is so insecure and that ends up being the motivation for the swap. I think it's ironic that she's now plotting ways to make the exchange permanent.
It's unfortunate since she's so great the way she is. Also, I'm almost positive the real Melissa would never feel this insecure to do this.
